Bristol Hospital Festival Of Wines And Spirits Nets $48K

BRISTOL, Conn.—The Bristol Hospital Development Foundation’s annual Festival of Wine and Spirits—which took place on Saturday, March 10—has raised $48,000. The proceeds—which were raised from wine sales as well as a silent auction—will help fund the upcoming renovations of the Bristol Hospital Emergency Center.

Attendees enjoyed an array of fine wine, beer and spirit tastings from local top distributors. Maple End Package Store in Bristol and owner Marvin Friedman coordinated the more than 50 distributors and exhibitors. The event co-chairs included John Walker, MD, who represents the Platinum Sponsor, Radiologic Associates, and Craig Mittleman, MD, who represents another top sponsor, US Acute Care Solutions, which is the physician group of the Bristol Hospital Emergency Center. Dr. Mittleman also serves as chairman of Bristol Hospital’s Department of Emergency Medicine.
