Where Technology Meets Health Care

Telehealth

Receive the health care you need even from the comfort of your home. Virtual visits enable you to see and talk to your doctor from your mobile device, tablet or laptop.

Telehealth: Virtual Visits, Real Care

Bristol Health offers telehealth options for primary care, speciality care and emergency visits. Connect with your individual provider concerning your health care needs from the comfort of your home.

Physician Visits

Call 1.833.4BHDOCS to schedule an appointment with a Bristol Health Medical Group physician. Provide the representative with an email or your cell phone number and they will send you a direct link to your telehealth appointment.

You will receive a confirmation email and/or text message, both containing a link to your virtual appointment. It's that easy!

You can request a telehealth appointment online by using the form below.

Emergency Department Visits

Late at night and the urgent care is closed?  Wondering if you need hospital care but are just not sure? Need to see an emergency provider but are worried about the wait? Don't worry, we have you covered!

Bristol Health offers virtual Emergency Department visits from the comfort and safety of your home using your smartphone or camera-enabled device. You can see an emergency physician -- and they can see you, to assess you and provide care, as well as to determine if you need to come into the ED.

Telehealth services are available 24/7. Our ED is staffed by a US Acute Care Solutions provider who is working in the Bristol Health Emergency Center in real-time.

Call 860.585.3980 and provide information as requested. You will need to have the following information prior to calling:
  • Picture ID
  • Insurance card (you will be charged a fee for this virtual visit; however, the fee is applied to your in-person visit if your provider determines you need to come in)
  • Active cell phone number and email address to allow access to our patient portal
You will receive a text message link from a provider within 15 minutes to start your telehealth visits. Please note: this message may show up as either "Unknown Sender" or "Backline."

Helpful Tips

For the best connection, we recommend accessing telehealth from your laptop or desktop computer. If using a computer, you must use Chrome or Firefox as your browser.

You can also use your smartphone or tablet. Simply click on the link that is sent to you and follow the directions.

Please log in 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. You will need to provide some basic information regarding your health. Once you have answered the questions the provider will be sent a notification and will log on and start your visit.
