A Healthy Childhood Starts Here

Pediatrics

Bristol Health provides comprehensive care for infants, children and adolescents as well as education to pediatric patients and their parents. Our pediatric care helps set the foundation for a healthy life.

Specialized Care for Newborns to Adolescents

Our goal is to partner with parents and their children to maximize child health through preventative care and education. We will provide up-to-date guidance on eating well, staying active, optimizing sleep and keeping kids mentally healthy. We strongly believe in the importance of routine vaccination (schedule recommended by the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics) as a tool to keep children healthy.

Our Specialized Care Includes:

  • Routine well-child/adolescent visits & preventative care
  • Immunizations
  • Hearing & vision screenings
  • Developmental screenings
  • Pediatric mental health screenings
  • Care of common childhood illnesses & minor injuries
  • ADHD assessment & routine management
  • Allergy & asthma care
  • Referrals to pediatric specialists or pediatric ER/Urgent Care as needed

Newborn & Infant Care

We are here to help you through the often challenging (but incredibly rewarding) early months of parenthood. We provide infant feeding guidance and support, guidance on common newborn issues, administer critically important early childhood vaccinations to protect against certain serious infections, and make sure we track your baby’s growth and development closely. We are here to answer your questions and point you towards trusted online parent education resources as well.

Toddler & School-Aged Child Care

We will help you navigate each new stage of growth and development as your child gets older, with continued regular well-child visits. Of course, each stage brings new challenges and new delights. We are here to answer questions and offer advice and direction. We will help keep an eye out for any learning or emotional difficulties. We will continue to keep them up to date on vaccinations and care for them when they are sick.

Pre-Teen & Adolescent Care

Although the lives of pre-teens and teens can get busy, we still want to be sure these patients are seen yearly for well-visits and stay up to date on recommended vaccines.  We will give your teen private one-on-one time with the doctor to be sure we have a full understanding of any health issues. However, we still want you as the parent to talk to your teen about health issues, encourage healthy habits, attend most office visits with your child and communicate any health concerns to us. We will screen for mental health issues yearly at well-visits, help address concerns as needed, and give teens the tools they need to be able to take responsibility for their own health and wellness as they prepare for adulthood.

Caring for Children. Teaming With Parents.

As children grow from babies to young adults, their parents are their most important role models. We hope to build strong partnerships with our parents to enable them to be the best teachers and role models possible. We strive to have open lines of communication to create a true family partnership.
