Diagnosis and Treatment

Diagnosis of menopause
Your gynecologist may be able to diagnose you with perimenopause or menopause based on your symptoms alone. They can also perform blood tests to help diagnose menopause.

Hormone replacement therapy
Taking small doses of hormones may help manage menopause symptoms like hot flashes or lack of energy.

Menopause education
Our doctors take the time to talk to you about menopause and lifestyle changes you can make to manage symptoms and stay healthy as you age.

Non-hormone therapy
Some non-hormone medications can help manage menopause symptoms. Your physician can work with you to determine if these medicines are right for you.

Preventive care
After menopause, you have increased risk for osteoporosis and heart disease. Your doctor can help you make a plan to prevent these conditions. This might include lifestyle changes or medications.
