A Path to Recovery and Healing

Counseling Center

For more than 30 years, Bristol Health’s Counseling Center has been providing vital counseling, therapy and substance use treatment services to our patients and community. Turn to us for outpatient counseling and support that can improve your mental health and your life.

Counseling that Fits Your Needs and Life

Our team of experienced behavioral health specialists can design treatment plans for a wide range of issues, from complex mental health disorders to substance use and addiction recovery. With our extended hours and diverse services, we can help you find the support and treatment that’s right for you.

Group Therapy

Group therapy offers many benefits and is a primary focus of our approach. Our groups are intentionally small to ensure adequate support and an intimate, safe environment for sharing and healing. All groups are led by a licensed professional. More than 25 groups are available for a wide range of issues, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety and addiction. Our therapists can help you find the group that best fits your needs. Groups are held throughout the day and some evenings. We utilize evidence based practices including DBT and CBT with a focus on coping tools, self-esteem, mindfulness, motivation for change, relapse prevention and mood management/self regulation.

Outpatient Counseling

We offer individual, and group therapy, as well as medication management for mental health disorders like depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and for addiction.

Intensive Outpatient/Day Treatment Program

For those who need intensive support and monitoring for mental health and dual diagnoses, this program is available five days a week from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or three days a week from 9 a.m. to noon.

Convenient Location and Hours

Appointments are available Monday through Friday. The standalone center is located at 420 North Main Street. For more information or for questions call us at 860.583.5858.
