For more than 30 years, Bristol Health’s Counseling Center has been providing vital counseling and therapy services to our patients and community. Turn to us for outpatient counseling and support that can improve your mental health and your life.

Counseling that Fits Your Needs and Life

Our team of experienced behavioral health specialists can design treatment plans for a wide range of issues, from complex mental health disorders to substance use and addiction recovery. With our extended hours and diverse services, you can find the support and treatment that’s right for you.

Services include:

Group Therapy

Group therapy offers many benefits and is a primary focus of our approach. Our groups are intentionally small to ensure adequate support and an intimate, safe environment for sharing and healing. All groups are led by a licensed professional. More than 40 groups are available for a wide range of issues, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety and addiction. Our therapists can help you find the group that best fits your needs.


Outpatient Counseling

We offer individual, group, family and couples therapy, as well as counseling and medication management for depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and other issues.


STAR (Substance Treatment and Recovery-Intensive Outpatient)

For substance use and addiction issues, this intensive program offers a level of support that can lead to recovery and a better life. Attend three afternoons per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for help overcoming addiction to opiates, alcohol or other substances.


Day Treatment Program

For those who need intensive support and monitoring for a mental illness, this program is available five days a week from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or three to five days a week from 9 a.m. to noon.

Convenient Location and Hours

Appointments are available Monday through Friday. The standalone center is located at 420 North Main Street.
