We're in Your Neighborhood

Bristol Health facilities are just around the corner, with locations in Bristol, Plainville, Southington, New Britain and beyond.  And because we believe in being a partner in the community, we constantly offer education, seminars and events. Come find us in your town.

Caring for Southington

Bristol Health Medical Group is growing to meet the needs of the Southington community, bringing more options for primary and specialty care right downtown with our new state-of-the-art, expanded facility. The new 167 Main St. location is home to primary care, cardiology, general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, podiatry, pulmonology, sports medicine and urology.

But you'll find us outside the building's walls as well. Our providers are bringing their expertise directly to you through events, festivals, educational sessions and seminars. Most recently, Bristol Health partnered with the Southington YMCA for a special senior luncheon in which orthopedic surgeon David Rubins, MD, discussed joint replacement surgery.

What Does Our Community Need?

Recently, we led a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment to evaluate the needs of all those living in and around Bristol. The purpose of the assessment was to gather information regarding not just health needs, but health behaviors as well. The assessment examined a variety of indicators, including alcohol and tobacco use, chronic health conditions like diabetes and heart disease, and access to care.

Revitalizing Downtown Bristol

Determined to meet the community’s needs and wish for better access to care, our Board of Directors made the decision to build the Bristol Health’s Medical Care Center, which opened in June 2019. The building houses medical offices, including urology, cardiology, neurology, rheumatology and orthopedics, and have dedicated space for laboratory and physical and occupational therapy services.

The building is the anchor project of a larger downtown Bristol revitalization effort and makes access to multiple services easier and more convenient than ever before.
