Our network provides comprehensive care for pregnancy to help keep you and your baby healthy. We personalize your appointment and testing schedule to your pregnancy so we can diagnose any issues early and take steps to protect you and your little one.

Preconception Counseling

If you are considering becoming pregnant, we highly recommend beginning your plan of care as early as possible. It's important to make an appointment to see your physician before you become pregnant.

Routine Obstetrical Care

Throughout your pregnancy, we monitor you and your baby’s health to keep you both safe. Your care will include ultrasounds, blood tests, urine tests and more.

High-Risk Obstetrical Care

If you are expecting twins, having medical complications with your pregnancy, or your doctor believes you are at a higher risk for complications during your pregnancy they will work closely with you to map out your best plan of care to ensure the best outcome for you and your baby-to-be.

We offer the high-risk maternity care you need to ensure as healthy a pregnancy as possible. Your personalized treatment plan will help you and your baby receive timely care and interventions as well as consultation services with a fetal medicine specialist at the University of Connecticut.

Pediatric Hospitalist Group

With a dedicated group of pediatricians that work specifically in our hospital, your baby's care is assured post-delivery.

Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding offers many benefits to mother and baby and we offer support through breastfeeding classes.

We are here to not only care for you physically, but to educate and provide guidance on what it is you want and need to know.

Baby Bonding

Maternal-Fetal Medicine

Bristol Health Celebrates The Opening Of Its New 10-Bed Emergency Center Behavioral Health Unit

On Friday, Bristol Health celebrated the opening of its new outpatient behavioral health unit which is housed in the Bristol Hospital Emergency Center. Bristol Health is in the midst of a major renovation and expansion of its Emergency Center as part of the Operation Ergency Campaign which is being coordinated by the Bristol Hospital Development Foundation.
