Medworks, Bristol Health's Occupational Health program, is designed to meet the work-related healthcare needs of employers, offering comprehensive, cost-effective occupational health services tailored to the individual needs of each employer and all offered locally at Bristol Health.
Our goal is to assist you - the employer - with all of your occupational health needs. We partner with you in your efforts to minimize workplace injuries and exposures and to reduce your overall occupational healthcare expenses. We support and advise you with your day-to-day occupational health compliance issues. Should you ever be faced with the need to respond to a workplace injury or exposure, we are your experts and the Medworks staff is your liaison to coordinate services, screenings, and health information for you and your business.
Offering a broad spectrum of physical exam services including blood testing, as required, job placement exams, return-to-work evaluations, and contamination surveillance exams.
Additionally, we offer exam services for pulmonary function, titmus vision, N-95 fit testing, CDL licensing, electrocardiograms and x-rays as requested.
Medworks is in compliance with all FAA, DOT, NHTSA, and FMCSA regulations, and offer services that cover routine drug testing.
We also offer immunizations for Hepatitis B, seasonal influenza, MMR, TDap, and Varicella.
The rehabilitation services we offer include back evaluations and work hardening. Medworks is closely located to Bristol Health's own Rehab Dynamics for all physical and occupational therapy needs.
Equally important to the medical services we offer, Medworks can assist and offer independent medical work-site evaluations for increased workplace safety and management.
Located at 975 Farmington Avenue in Bristol, Medworks is an affiliate member of Connecticut Occupational Medicine Partners, LLC, with eight additional clinic locations throughout the north central Connecticut region.
