Persis Thomas , M.D., IBCLC

Dr. Thomas is a board-certified pediatrician and lactation consultant who brings a diverse range of clinical expertise to Bristol Health. She earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency training at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Specializing in comprehensive pediatric care, her clinical interests include newborn care, breastfeeding support, and pediatric mental health—including behavioral concerns, autism, ADHD, depression and anxiety. Dr. Thomas speaks Malayalam fluently. As a mother of three young daughters, she finds that her personal journey through motherhood deeply enriches her medical practice and enhances her empathy as a clinician.
