Bristol Health is administering the COVID-19 vaccine. We are participating in the national effort to get as many people vaccinated as quickly as possible to help put an end to the pandemic. We will be following all federal and state guidelines in vaccination priorities.

COVID-Specific Therapies
Through collaboration between our ER and our pharmacy, Bristol Health is able to offer both Monoclonal Antibody Infusions and Oral Antiviral Pills. Supplies are limited.

Rapid COVID Testing: PCR test results in 24 hours or less!
Whether you're traveling, need clearance for work, or just want peace of mind, Bristol Health's Med-Help Urgent Care offers rapid testing options. You can get an antigen COVID test with results in 20 minutes, or the highly-accurate PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test, with results within 24 hours or sooner!  We’re able to offer these exceptionally quick results because our PCR tests are performed by our own, in-house Bristol Hospital lab. For members of the general public seeking a COVID test, they can find additonal testing site by visiting the Connecticut Department of Public Health website or by calling the United Way’s 2-1-1 phone line.

Bristol Health is continuing to protect the health and safety of our community during the pandemic. We are continuing to provide routine and emergency care at all our facilities and have made accommodations to best manage the crisis.

Celebrating COVID-19 Victories

Bristol Health celebrated a "CODE ROCKY" on the afternoon of April 21, as staff recognized 81-year-old Rosa Pabey of Bristol, a COVID-19 patient. Pabey left the hospital to the applause of staff and to the Rocky theme song "Gonna Fly Now."

Latest Updates, Closings, Restrictions & Announcements

Everyone entering Bristol Health facilities will be screened to ensure it is safe and appropriate for them to enter. Please observe social distancing and keep 6ft apart while waiting for screening.

Visitors who arrive to make bill payments or obtain medical records are not allowed to travel to Level E of Bristol Hospital. You can make your payments online by visiting our patient portal section of the web site.
