Located in the heart of the City of Bristol, our hospital has been serving the area’s healthcare needs since 1921. With 169 licensed beds, the hospital offers a complete range of patient services, including a first-rate Emergency Center, that cares for over 40,000 patients each year.
The hospital also is home to the Sleep Center; the Bariatric Surgery Program; the 6,100-square-foot Beekley Center for Breast Health and Wellness; the Cancer Care Center; the 50,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art surgical center; a family-centered, single-room-model maternity unit; an award-winning ICU; physical, occupational and speech therapy; the cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation center and space dedicated to diagnostic imaging and laboratory services.

There is good news for area residents who have been prescribed testing for COVID-19 by their doctors. Bristol Health has opened their outdoor specimen collection station in one of their parking lots via Queen Street entrance, where nurses are on hand.
State officials have promised to expand coronavirus testing, but there is still a lot of confusion about how to get tested and who’s eligible.
The department of health said patients are required to get a written, paper order to get tested at these sites.
