2020 Press Ganey Leading Innovator

Bristol Health is proud to announce that it has been named a 2020 Press Ganey Leading Innovator! The honor comes as a result of our overall response to meet community needs and by increasing ED visits and patient satisfaction through our telehealth program during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Leading Innovators Program recognizes health care organizations for the rapid adoption and implementation of innovative approaches that address the many challenges facing the industry this year.

Early on in the pandemic, our Emergency Department staff noticed that people were not seeking the treatment they needed and therefore were putting their health and safety at risk. To ensure that our community members received the care they needed, in April our Emergency Center became the first in the state of Connecticut to offer telemedicine services.

We are proud of this honor and even more proud to be able to be there for our community!
