Services We Offer

Diagnostic testing
Many conditions can be the underlying cause of menstrual problems. Your doctor may be able to identify these conditions with blood tests, ultrasounds or other testing.

Birth control
Hormonal birth control may help lighten or shorten your periods as well as improve your emotional health during your period. Some forms of birth control are approved for treatment of specific menstrual problems, such as heavy bleeding or premenstrual dysphonic disorder. Your doctor may recommend skipping periods altogether by taking hormonal birth control continuously.

Uterine fibroid removal
Fibroids (noncancerous growths in your uterus) can cause heavy bleeding and pain. Our physicians can remove these fibroids with minimally invasive techniques.

Endometrial ablation
If you experience heavy bleeding, endometrial ablation can help reduce bleeding during your periods. This surgery destroys the uterine lining, so you should not use this treatment option if you plan to have children in the future.

Antidepressants
If you have severe premenstrual dysphoric disorder, antidepressants may help you better control feelings of depression that occur late in your cycle.
