The caring physicians at Bristol Health help you determine if contraception is right for you and help you develop a plan to prevent unplanned pregnancy.

More choices for Your Reproductive Health

At Bristol Health, we offer comprehensive options for pregnancy prevention, from birth control pills to surgical sterilization. Based on your health and lifestyle, we’ll help you choose which type of contraception will be safe and effective for you, whether you’ve already had children or are deciding whether motherhood is right for you.

Services We Offer

Oral contraception
Oral contraception — or the birth control pill — uses hormones to help prevent pregnancy and treat many women’s health conditions.

Long-acting reversible contraception
Intrauterine devices (IUDs) provide safe and effective birth control that can last between three and 10 years. These devices may or may not use hormones to prevent pregnancy.

Birth control patches and rings
If you don’t like taking a daily pill, birth control patches or rings use hormones to prevent pregnancy, too, and only need to be replaced once per month.

Nonreversible birth control
Surgical techniques to prevent pregnancy, including tubal ligation or hysterectomy, are nonreversible. These techniques are most often used in women who are done having children.
