Reasons to Seek Emergency Care

You should head to the Emergency Room if you believe you have life-threatening condition or if it is after hours and you seek immediate help.

Conditions that require emergency care include:

  • Chest pain
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Severe wound
  • Head trauma
  • Severe bleeding
  • Fainting
  • ​Loss of vision

Minor Illnesses and Infections

  • Upper respiratory infections such as colds, strep, sinus
  • Infections and bronchitis
  • Ear infections and blockages
  • Vomiting, diarrhea or dehydration
  • Eye irritation and redness
  • Flu, viruses and stomach bugs
  • Urinary tract and kidney infections
  • Rashes and poison ivy
  • Boils and abscesses
