The Parent & Child Center utilizes the federal consultation and training rate of $650 per day. Training fees are calculated based upon the length of the training and preparation time. Training fees are negotiable and available on a sliding scale when appropriate. Please do not hesitate to contact us even if you have a limited budget. We are committed to making our trainings accessible to all.
Trainings for Churches, teachers, coaches, daycares and more.
The Parent and Child Center is accepting volunteer applications to help in two of the center’s ongoing services. Volunteers are needed for the Center’s Caring Closet, which offers basic need supplies to low-income families with young children, and the Center’s Foundations program supporting prenatal and new families.
The Caring Closet needs volunteers to assist families utilizing the program. Walk-in program hours are on Mondays (1 PM to 2:30 PM) and Wednesdays (10 AM to 11:30 AM). The program also needs volunteers to sort incoming donations and restock clothing racks and shelves. Restocking hours are flexible Monday-Thursday between 8 AM and 4:30 PM.
Additional opportunity to work directly with prenatal and new families as they adjust to having a new baby in their lives.
All volunteers must complete an application, pass a background check, and attend a volunteer orientation session. Training will be provided.
