On Monday, Ingraham Manor Skilled Nursing of Bristol Health celebrated its newly-upgraded beauty salon - now known as “Hair by IM” - with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The salon is open to all residents of Ingraham Manor and offers very inexpensive hair care services. The new Hair By IM salon features two salon chairs, a new flat screen TV, hair dryers and a handicap accessible sink.

The entire project was overseen by the Ingraham Manor Residents Council which includes about 15-20 residents. A local beautician comes in three days a week to staff the salon. Additionally, Ingraham Manor Nursing Manager Loretta Lee, MSN, RN, made a generous donation to Hair by IM which will cover the cost of the first few resident salon visits.
